The Surreal Life, simians, and squirrels as rabbits

VH-1 has announced the cast for the fifth season of The Surreal Life, which includes Perfect Strangers' Bronson Pinchot, America's First Human Made Entirely from Botox Janice Dickinson, the Apprentice's Omarosa, and Carey Hart. (Unfortunately, this is not the guy who wears his sunglasses at night, but the guy who has been made into a Mountain Dew Beanie Baby.) Given that the last two seasons have spawned train wreck relationships, I'm betting Bronson and Omarosa will be twin-bedding it in no time. The opportunistic producers at VH-1 probably already have the ultra-lame title for their worse-than-Strange Love show picked out: Perfect Strangers 2: Don't Be Reeediculous!

Is it just me, or does the new Walker Art Center look kind of like the face of a gigantic, mechanized evil monkey? For some reason, this happy accident makes me like the sci-fi-inspired building even more.

Also, this blog is full of bizarre non-sequiturs, dancing flamingo-turtles, and squirrel-rabbits playing harmonica.
