Dibbs looks back on ten Scribble Jams

Days before the tenth annual Scribble Jam in Cincinnati, Ohio, founding DJ Mr. Dibbs tells the Cincinnati Enquirer he remembers the time in 1997 when Eminem "came out of nowhere" to take second in the MC battles. This year's hip-hop-a-looza (11.5 hours from Minnesota by car) features Friday headliners Masta Ace, Prince Paul, Lyrics Born, and our own I Self Devine. But the real draw is the hundreds of unknown graffiti artists, dancers, DJs, and potential Eminems. Scan the message board next week for future stars.
