A tribute for Lou

Penumbra Theatre Company is putting together a benefit this week to salute Artistic Director Lou Bellamy's recent Lifetime Achievement Recognition at the Ivey Awards. Bellamy's acceptance of the award was a high point in the evening, and was accompanied by a photo essay encapsulating his 30-year-plus career in the theater. The event takes place this Wednesday, January 11, at the Dakota Jazz Club from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Penumbra's T. Mychael Rambo hosts, with music provided by Moore by Four.
