Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board: Pools and beaches to open this weekend

Categories: General Archive
Turn off your garden hose and get out of that icy bathtub. Pools and beaches near you are officially opening this week.

Attention all chlorine and sand junkies: Many pools, water parks, wading pools, and beaches run by Minnesota Parks and Recreation are opening this week or next. Water parks include Webber Pool, Lupient Water Park, and North Commons Water Park. Though many people are already hanging out at MPRB beaches, now during certain hours lifeguards will be on duty. Wading pools located around the city are great for small children, or for adult foot-dipping. A a new wading pool at Minnehaha Falls’ Wabun area will open this weekend.

For a complete list of locations, hours, and facilities, check out the official MPRB here.
