Beer Olympics this Saturday at Mayslack's

If the Valkyries Women's Rugby Team is trying to tell us anything by hosting its first Beer Olympics, it's that these girls can drink and good as they can scrum.

Saturday's fundraiser at Mayslack's Restaurant and Bar is your chance to try and drink a Rugby girl under the table. Alongside the Valkyries, the Minnesota Amazons and the San Diego Surfers will play Flippy Cup, Beer Pong, and Boat Races with their fans, as well as participate in other relay races and games the teams made up.

"It's a lot more fun than a regular old beer bus which is what rugby teams usually do," says Laura Gill, the team's social coordinator.

Five dollars gets you free drinks. Ten dollars allows you to compete.

There will be free t-shirts for everyone who participates, plus admission to TNT, the ACDC cover band that will take the stage at 9 p.m.
