Mighty Fairly release video for "My America"

Mischa Suemnig, lead singer of local indie pop band Mighty Fairly, was one of many musicians to participate in this month's Rift 36 Hour Songwriting Contest. The subject for this round was "America," and Suemnig and bandmate Kellie Nitz whipped up a delightful little ditty called "My America." A few days later, they decided to film a music video for their new song. Talk about a fast turnaround time -- it took the group less than two weeks to compose the song and release the video.
The result is compelling; Suemnig approached over 100 people at bars and malls and asked them to complete the sentence "My America..."
