Vampire hookers attack the Oak Street Cinema tonight

carradine.jpgVampire Hookers was made in 1978, and only has 2 stars on IMBD, but it stars John Carradine and three blood sucking hotties who recite quotes by Walt Whitman and Shakespeare, so what more can you possibly want? Oh yeah, Oak Street Cinema is also throwing a themed party.

But the debauchery isn’t limited to the silver screen, patrons are encouraged to dress in their best vampire hooker costume for possible prizes. Local burlesque sensation Honey the Hot Hooper (whose strength lies in her mad hula hoop skills) will also be on hand to celebrate the joys of bad cinema and the drunks who love it. Later in the evening there will also be Apocalyptic Plinko. And although I don’t exactly know what that entails, I am envisioning something involving Bob Barker or Drew Cary telling you to drop the puck down the Plinko wall. In hell.

The night is hosted by Rock ‘n Roll Ray’s Strange Show Sandwich at Oak Street Cinema (309 Oak Street NE, Minneapolis; 612.31.134). Tickets are $8 with the show starting at 9:30 p.m. For more info, check out the Strange Sandwich Show here.
