Local supergroup the Hopefuls have been a little quiet lately. Ever since bass player and co-songwriter Erik Appelwick left the group and joined up with Tapes 'n Tapes, the future of this much-loved power pop band has hung in the balance. But the band appears to be back on track, as they are set to release a follow-up to their 2004 breakout The Fuses Refuse to Burn.

Their new album, Now Playing at the One-Seat Theatre, will be released next Saturday, December 20 with a show in the First Avenue Main Room. The show flyer and track listing are after the jump.
