As previously announced, Dessa Darling of Doomtree will be celebrated with an evening of readings and music next weekend at the Guthrie, with host Steve Marsh, musical guest Jeremy Messersmith, and many others. To preview the show, Dessa, Marsh, and Messersmith recorded a hilarious little series of promo videos on YouTube, including this one where they attempt to sing Madonna's "Material Girl."
