Minnesota Museum of American Art closes
Citing the economy hitting non-profits hard, the Minnesota Museum of American Art has officially closed. But employees still hold hope that the art organization will reopen in time.

Recent shows and events have included "Hot Ink," a retrospective on comic art in Minnesota, "Art Here" a year-long fusion of art shows with live music and film screenings, and the popular summertime Patio Nights, which featured live music by great local artists.
In the coming months the MMAA pace is hoping to find new funding as well as a new space. Those interested in donating funds to help them achieve these goals can click here.
