Minnesotans attempt to break world record for longest ATV parade

Just announced, June 13, 2009 the All-Terrain Vehicle Association of Minnesota (ATVAM) hopes to break the Guinnes Book World Record for the longest ATV parade ever. This will be their second attempt to shatter the record held by Harlan County Ridge Runners in Everts, Kentucky.

The event will take place this June in Silver Bay, Minnesota, a place known for their ATV and snow mobile trails, as well as their lovely North Shore Drive. The ATVAM hopes to attract at least 2,000 ATM riders to participate, the Harlan County Ridge Runners hold the record with 1,138. Last year the Minnesota group missed the record by a mere 56 vehicles.
