Last year's full-length debut by
Kristoff Krane,
This Will Work for Now, garnered high praises from critics and DJs across town -- the disc landed on our Top 10 list last year, and Barb Abney at the Current has been spinning his song "Miracles" ever since. Krane's intensely personal, confessional, and sometimes frenzied style of rap singled him out as an up-and-coming local to watch, so it's exciting to announce that Krane will be releasing a new digital EP later this spring.
The EP, titled
Picking Flowers next to Road Kill, is a collaboration between Krane and producer Leonard Rhombus of
Death Ray Scientific. Krane predicts the EP will be available on iTunes sometime in late April or early May.
In addition to his solo work, Krane will also release the latest in a series of EPs with his full band,
Abzorbr. Their newest,
EP3, will be released at the same time as Krane's solo work.
