Black Blondie announce new album (MP3 download)

The fusion of sounds on Black Blondie's debut full length are as irresistible as they are undefinable. Blending soul, jazz, funk, R&B, hip-hop, pop, and the kitchen sink, their new album is more of a feeling than a particular sound; these ladies are chill, and they want you to feel chill too. Though they have been playing around town for a couple of years now, they have yet to release a proper album, so fans of the genre-bending group will be exciting to get their hands on Do You Remember Who You Wanted To Be?, which is being released April 14. Click on the link below to download a track from the album, "Candy Cigarettes," which also features Channy Moon Casselle from Roma di Luna. It's one of the slower tracks on the album, and it really showcases the powerhouse vocals of lead singer Samahra.

Black Blondie will play a CD-release show for Do You Remember Who You Wanted To Be? with M.anifest, Chastity Brown, and DJ Turtleneck on Friday, April 17 at the Triple Rock Social Club.
