Just look at that face. What a crime against humanity that Mr. Wheat has chosen a profession where we can only swoon to his voice and not fawn over his endearing, ever-present smile. But alas, his voice has a power of its own and his charm comes across loud and clear during his evening shifts on 89.3 the Current, which is one of the reasons why Mark was an obvious choice for this year's Best FM Radio Personality. To surprise him, web editor Jen Boyles jumped Mark at work and presented him with a billowing bouquet of red mylar balloons and his Best Of award -- watch this video as Mark humbly accepts his award and expresses his appreciation for City Pages.
