For only the fifth time in his five decade-long career, Bob Dylan's new album Together Through Life debuted as the highest-selling album this week in the US. Thankfully, as if displaying a glimmer of hope for the future of the commercial music industry, Dylan outsold other chart-toppers Rick Ross and Miley Cyrus to claim the position of number one. Released last Tuesday, April 28, Together Through Life has already sold 125,000 copies in the US. Across the pond in the UK, the album debuted at #1 for the seventh time in his career.

In other Dylan news, our hometown hero is also gracing the cover of Rolling Stone this month, and both a teaser of the interview and David Fricke's in-depth review of the album are available on their website. You can also browse the past Dylan cover issues of Rolling Stone; the folk icon has been featured on the front of their magazine a whopping 16 times.
