Summer is a great chance to get outdoors and take in live music amidst sun beams and mosquitos, and Red House Records is jumping on the bandwagon by offering their very own summer festival. On Saturday, August 1, Red House will host a very unique kind of outdoor concert called Blues at the Barn, which -- as you may have already guessed -- will be held at Hobgoblin Music's converted barn in Red Wing, Minnesota.

The barn, owned by the Hobgoblin Music shop, is home to a one-of-a-kind concert venue, record store, and custom-made Celtic harp workshop, and should provide an ideal venue for Red House Records' folk and roots musicians.

Here's the lineup, from the press release: "the all-afternoon festival will include performances by grooving blues poet Ray Bonneville, Iowa City alt-country artist Pieta Brown, Prairie Home Companion favorite Dave Moore, indie-roots duo the Pines and the Brass Kings' Steve Kaul."

Tickets are $25 in advance, and children under 10 will be admitted for free. Click here to purchase tickets, or call (877) 866-3936.
