Spin Nightclub throws a totally radical '80s party

Oh, the 1980s. It was a simpler time. A time before we knew what kind of porn Pee Wee Herman enjoyed, a time where a heroin addict could write a wholesome little sitcom called Alf, and it was a time where you could solve a Rubik's Cube by peeling the stickers off and putting them back on.
This Saturday Spin Nightclub (10 S. 5th St., Minneapolis; 612.805.8133) hosts a homage to the neon decade. So bust out your leg warmers, load your face up with blue eye shadow and hot pink lipstick, and spray that hair with as much Aqua Net as you can handle without asphyxiating. Recommended dance moves include the running man, aerobic workout poses, and that awkward hop thing people used to do. Prizes go to the best dressed.Oh, the 1980s. It was a simpler time. The party starts at 9 p.m. and runs until 2 a.m. It's also 18+, meaning that some people in attendance may have never seen this glorious decade, so be sure to show them how it's done.
