Kristoff Krane and Cecil Otter play balloon show this weekend

If you pick up this week's copy of City Pages or read the music section online, you'll find an interview with Doomtree member Cecil Otter, whose solo album was recently picked up by Sage Francis's record label Strange Famous. To learn more about Cecil Otter, head over to his MySpace page and sample a few tracks, and then pop in at one of two unique shows at the Entry on Saturday night, where he will be playing with headliner Kristoff Krane.

The first show is all ages and the second show is 21+, and each party will feature a special twist. According to Krane: "Balloons will be provided for all guests, who will be urged to write their most important message to the world on their balloons." The First Avenue website has more information and advanced tickets available.
