711 Art Show is this Saturday at the Loft

(Somewhere out there, breakdancers are doing their thing. Photo by Glamour Schatz.) This Saturday night at the Loft (a.k.a. the 3rd floor of Barfly) will be hosting a party that promises to be epic. First, over a dozen top graffiti artists from around the country will be on hand, creating works of art on open canvases, on live models, and on murals. Emcees will battle it out on stage while breakdancers bust a move on the floor. There will also be an indoor skate contest, music by hip hop jam band PARALLAX, booze, and presumably, shenanigans.

The party starts at 7 pm and it 18+. The cover is $7 before 11 pm, $11 after. The Loft is located at 711 Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis.
