In a show that seems too good to be true, shoegaze power pop band No Age are playing at the 501 Club tonight -- and like all shows at the 501, there is no cover charge. The show is by far the smallest and most intimate venue on the Sub Pop breakout band's tour schedule this summer, and is guaranteed to be a packed show. Local art rock heavies Gay Witch Abortion and Knife World will open.

The show starts at 9:30 p.m. and is a kick-off party for the Minneapolis chapter of the Bike Film Festival, which runs through this weekend. The 501 will also host a round of bike-related trivia starting at 7 p.m., which you can read about in this week's A-List section of this week's City Pages. It is highly recommended that people arrive early in order to guarantee admission into the show.
