Tapes 'n Tapes announce unique set of local dates

​While they could easily fill the Main Room at First Avenue, hometown heroes Tapes 'n Tapes have opted for a more unique approach with their next set of local dates: this October, they will play three consecutive nights at three different venues in the Twin Cities, including an acoustic set at the newly repurposed Music Box on Nicollet.

According to the press release, the band plans to play lots of new material and is promising "many wonderful surprises... These shows are going to be better than Joe Mauer sitting in the spoon at Spoonbridge and Cherry, eating a Juicy Lucy while rocking out to Prince," they write. "Well, maybe not, but we'll certainly try."
