Bob Dylan to release Christmas album on October 13

​Colombia Records has announced that Bob Dylan's 47th album will be released this October--and for the first time in his career, it will be a Christmas album. Dylan will release Christmas in the Heart, which includes "Here Comes Santa Claus," "Winter Wonderland," "Little Drummer Boy" and "Must Be Santa," on October 13, and proceeds from the US sales of his album will benefit the Feeding America charity.

We can only imagine how these old Christmas standards will sound once they have been repurposed by the folk icon, who has been on top of his game this year with the critically-acclaimed Together Through Life and his high-spirited performances of old classics throughout the summer.
