Calls to the nightclub's booking staff and promoters remain unanswered at this time.
Sources say that the club was in serious financial trouble. Minority owners allegedly took over operation of the club when owner Mike Ogren couldn't pay off the debts, and have since determined that the business is not a viable operation.
As with the Uptown Bar's potential closing, we will update this story as soon as we receive more information.
Here is a list of upcoming shows at Myth, no word yet on where they will be relocated:

Update: After word got out Friday afternoon, it was reported late in the evening that the club's owner, Mike Ogren, would seek to reopen Sept. 1.
A source close to the club told us odds the club would reopen were "extremely slim," adding that the club owners "let all of their staff go -- the bartenders, the barbacks, managers, security, everyone."
A source at another nightclub has told City Pages that Myth staff have since come looking for work. Ogren told the Star Tribune he would rehire them, but it's unclear if they would return. At this point, Ogren's claims appear dubious at best.
