Kanye West & Lady Gaga tour called off

Biiiig surprise: After an epic interruption at the MTV Video Music Awards last month, wherein Kanye "The Word" West crashed Taylor Swift's first acceptance speech for the cable channel, the house of cards seems to finally be toppling over. Announced on PerezHilton.com just an hour ago, the rapper's tour with visiting pop diva from the future, Lady Gaga, has been cancelled.
The ironically titled "Fame Kills" tour could have been a gorgeous disaster (nearly all of our own photographers offered to shoot it for us), but we'll just have to settle for YouTube videos of the self-described icon's best/worst moments instead.
West has been on a career-destroying mission for months, rumors swirling that he was especially disturbed by how "they" killed Michael Jackson and he didn't want to accept a similar fate. The irony there, obviously, is that these antics only serve to keep West's name in the headlines.
