In addition to all the amazing shows happening in Minneapolis this weekend, I had the chance to whisk myself away to New York City to watch some of our finest local bands play the CMJ Marathon. To give you an idea of what it was like, here are a few clips of Twin Cities Lookbook and Me & My Arrow, who both played on Sunday evening at Pianos in SoHo, Manhattan.
Your blog is great, and I like this post. I think I can find more useful information here. Thanks and keep it up!
Thank you for this cool post. I will be sure to check out your blog more often.
Someone totally lied to me! Oh well.
cartography?
Well looky there, ain't Steve a mapematician!
I made that word up 'cause I can't remember what you call people who make maps. Mapmakers and such.
All kidding aside, sounds like there was a little Minnie in the Big Apple over the weekend!
And I'm cheesy!
Hope you're having fun!
Technically, I'd say Piano's is the Lower East Side, not Soho. Don't get me wrong, the partitioning of neighborhoods in Manhattan is micro-managed down to the last block and obnoxious, but Soho's a pretty different part of town that's mostly like a mall, now, with a couple surviving art galleries.
