Prince is performing at Paisley Park on Saturday, which should really come as no surprise to anyone who's frequented downtown nightclubs over the last few months. Our hometown boy has been working the nightlife circuit (I even said hi to him at Envy a few weeks back) and making sure we all know who still rules the roost around here.
Says a fan on Modern Radio message board:
"I joined his website when it went live in March and got an email this morning saying members could buy tix for $31.21 (limit of two per member) for the show. They were all gone before I could get 'em but later in the morning there were more made available so I got some. The info is that there will be some available at the door for $40/each... It's gonna be a zoo. People are flying in for this. It is set to start at 11:00 p.m. (not sure if that means doors or showtime. You never know with Prince)."
Yeah, with Prince you can pretty much bet he'll go on at 2 a.m. for 50 people for either fifteen minutes or three days.
