Back To The Future screening tonight at Club Jager
Does anyone else agree that Marty McFly was a little slow to break the tongue kiss with his mother?
If you don't know how to answer that question, you need to go to Club Jager tonight. JagerCon, the posh warehouse district watering hole's weekly Tuesday sci fi party, is screening the bitch mother of all sci-fi blockbusters: Back To The Future.
Roads? Where you're going, you don't need roads.
It's a wonderful tradition, and a good alternative for those not looking to go butts-to-nuts with a bunch of amateurs double-fisting Pabst pints at T-Rock 241s. Club Jager has made a splash in the last year for hosting one of the city's more well-appointed weekend dance nights for those who are equally averse to glowsticks and dress codes.
But at Club Jager, Tuesdays belong to the geeks. Or, as the former jocks begin to realize that the geeks actually HAVE gotten ahead, geek wannabes.
Whatever--we won't split that hair. And while Back To The Future is perhaps a bit more mainstream than JagerCon's recent showings (Howard The Duck? Omega Man? Now we're talking), it might just be your first step into a larger world. Jager will supply the drinks, but you'll have to bring your own dice bag.
21+. 10:00 P.M. Free. Clubhouse Jager, 923 Washington Avenue North, Minneapolis.
