DJ Funk coming to capture Christmas booty Dec. 26

​DJ Funk is a special kind of DJ, a fact that's apparent the second his first record drops at the club and he demands to "see that ass bouncin'!". His juicy ghetto house beats have the same scandalous affect on most ladies as Halloween does, and it was like that back in the old rave days, too: tomboyish college girls covered head-to-toe in ridiculously baggy clothes were suddenly transformed into total freaks. Since the mid-90s, the Chicago native and Dance Mania records pioneer has simply had a legendary snake-charmer affect on the dancefloor, turning them into what looks like one of those uncut music videos that come on at 3 a.m. on weekends. Last Christmas, Funk came to Envy and it was a stormer of a night, leading the club to hit him for round deux again this year and leading us to make the only remaining conclusion: Screw being nice, the naughty are getting rewarded on this one.
