Zoo Animal
Last night, Brooklyn folk duo KaiserCartel were sandwiched in between two great local bands at the 7th St. Entry: brooding minimalist rockers (and Picked to Click runners-up) Zoo Animal opened the evening, and singer-songwriter Jeremy Messersmith had all the ladies in the audience getting misty-eyed during his headlining set. The three bands joined forces for the closer, as Courtney Kaiser of KaiserCartel led all of the musicians through an encore cover of
Eurythmic's "Sweet Dreams."

Check out these great photos by Stacy Schwartz.
