This Sunday will mark the latest installment of the Riot Act Reading Series, a cool monthly'ish event held at the Turf Club in St. Paul.
This Sunday will mark the latest installment of the Riot Act Reading Series, a cool monthly'ish event held at the Turf Club in St. Paul.
As usual, punk rock poet Paul D. Dickinson (many know him from Electric Arc Radio) and Laura Brandenburg with perform and host. Other eclectic guests include hilarious local comedian Mary Mack, author Frank Henry Rawlings lll, Stephanie Wilbur Ash (a writer on Electric Arc), and folk musician Charlie Parr. You'll laugh, you'll drink, you'll listen.
Musicians Lonesome Dan Case and Cam Waters are also scheduled to provide tunes.
The event is this Sunday, December 6 at the Turf Club (1601 University Ave., W. St. Paul, 651.647.0486). The event is 21+ and tickets are $5. The show starts at 7 p.m. and is downstairs in the Clown Lounge.
