It's been a big year for Travis Bos. In addition to holding down frontman duties in local rock act Chibalo, Bos and crew masterfully executed a reunion of the outstanding but abortive Chariots earlier this month.

But now the bitch mother of Bos reunions. The band that made him a local rock property, Song of Zarathustra, announced the details of their reunion show, which goes down on February 27th at the Triple Rock. Head below the jump for all the dirt.

Song of Zarathustra, live in Sioux City, IA, 2000.

From le announcement official:

It has been nearly 7 years since Song of Zarathustra played it's (sic) final show at the 7th Street Entry. For one night only, SOZ will reunite to play the Triple Rock w/it's (sic) "Birth of Tragedy" line up which features Mark Jorgensen on drums, James Munsen on bass/vocals, T.J. McInnis on guitar/vocals and Travis Bos on keys/vocals.

Today, local heavyweights Gay Witch Abortion and STNNNG were announced as supporting bands, which pretty much means that the presale for this mamma jamma is going to be like a game of Hungry Hungry Hippos.

Tickets will be on sale through the Triple Rock's website
, as well as at the bar. And the wise would queue up with quickness--for a scene like ours, this is a once in a decade reunion.
