Hip Hop for Haiti benefit planned for next week

Haiti-born Twin Cities rapper Unicus, best known for his work in Kanser, is organizing a benefit concert next week at the Nomad to raise money for the relief efforts in the earthquake-devastated Haiti. According to the Facebook event page, "the money raised will be sent through Wyclef's foundation Yele," and a large list of local hip-hop talent has already stepped forward to help out at the event.

Donations will be taken at the door and 100% of the proceeds will go to help the people Haiti in their time of need. With the death toll reaching 100,000+, and hundreds of thousands more left injured or without homes, food, or water, we need to do all that we can to help. The show will start at 7pm and run until the bar closes at 2am.
