Sometimes, the two-month stretch between record shows at the Lyndale VFW can feel SO LONG. Especially if, like me, you totally spaced on last month's show amidst all the year-end holiday mayhem. If the overwhelming urge to purchase cheap used vinyl is starting to creep in, relief is on the horizon. The owner of the old Let it Be record shop in downtown Minneapolis is holding another one of his massive three-day sales, this time in a new location and with new co-conspirators.
Let It Be Records
Dates and Location:
Friday, January 8 3 PM - 9 PM
Saturday, January 9 10 AM - 6 PM
Sunday, January 10 Noon - 4 PM.
2285 University Avenue, St. Paul
It is being held in the 'party room' of the Carlton Lofts buildings, which is located between the two loft buildings. There is plenty of free parking on University. Of course, the sale is free as well!
For directions help, is it 2 blocks west of the Vandalia/Interstate 94 exit. Take the exit, go North and then left onto University. Or it is 4 blocks east of the 280/Interstate 94 University exit. The 16 bus line runs right past as well.
Almost all of the stock will be new to this sale. There will $1 records, an assortment of nicer affordable vinyl, books, videos, posters, etc.
