KFAI seeking listener feedback about programming
Do you value the music programming that KFAI offers? Head over to their website to take a quick survey about your listening habits.
This email comes from Dan "Daddy Squeeze" Newton, who is a longtime local accordion player and leader of the Cafe Accordion Orchestra and a vocal supporter of KFAI:
Hi friends,Read more about recent KFAI developments at David Brauer's blog on MinnPost, where he reported the drop in listenership back in August and posted a brief update about the KFAI listener survey today.
I don't usually do these kind of emails, but I feel this subject is worth our attention.
There is currently talk that management at KFAI-FM are considering changing the station format to all news and information. They are looking for feedback from listeners to help with their decision-making process. Please go to http://www.kfai.org and take the survey, and answer the questions as the music-lover you are. It will take less than 10 minutes, and will go a long way in convincing the management that music is a vital part of the station's programming. We have plenty of news and information on MPR/NPR, and other media outlets. The music on KFAI cannot be found anywhere else!
Thanks,
Dan Dan Newton / Elizabeth Rowan
