First Avenue's VIP Room relaunch

​As part of their 40th Anniversary celebrations, First Avenue is giving its dance-heavy VIP Room a makeover and renaming it the Record Room. To celebrate, they are throwing a launch party this Sunday night, featuring local DJs the Moon Goons, Famuel, and Ricky Biggs and the Upgrayde, along with a special DJ set by Passion Pit (who are playing in the Mainroom earlier that night).

The launch party will also feature the debut of a new mural by local artist Greg Gossel (which you can preview here and here).
