Har Mar Superstar in Ghostbusters 3: The Facebook campaign

Sometimes Facebook give us too much information, like who is trumping who on Foursquare. Other times, we see something like "Kate Iverson, Nikki Miller, and Karl Pearson-Cater became friends of Casting Har Mar Superstar in Ghostbusters 3" and smile.

During an interview last January, a journalist asked the performer is he would like a part in Ghostbusters 3. His response: "Oh, to be in Ghostbusters 3? It would be amazing. Yes, of course! Are you casting me?" No, he was not casting. But since the idea was out there, it was obviously time to start a campaign.

According to IMDB Ghostbusters 3 is still being cast, and is set to be released in 2011. It will once again be directed by Ivan Reitman, and will star Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis, Annie Potts, Dan Aykroyd, and Bill Murray. Will it also have a cameo by the local pop-rapper? Could he play a ghost or a terrified person in a crowd? Signs point to maybe.
