Lilith Fair tour dates, venues, and lineups announced for some locations

It has been 11 years since the first Lilith Fair toured the states. It was one of the most successful touring concerts from 1997 to 1999. This year, the festival returns with a variety of performers at each destination, though headliner Sarah McLachlan will perform at each stop. The lineup in various cities is eclectic, and includes Cat Power, Emmylou Harris, Tegan and Sara, the Bangles, Gossip, Metric, Kelly Clarkson, and many others. Tickets are on sale for some venues March 27.
Minneapolis is on their list of pit stops. Though the site is lacking information, City Pages uncovered last month that Heart is included on the lineup and that the show is set for July 18. For those planning a road trip to Chicago, their show will be July 17 at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre and will feature La Roux, Mary J. Blige, Kate Nash, Heart, and others.
