• He is a critic, so he has the right to their own opinion. That said KISS MY ASS & SUCK MY DICK mr ward! That was a pathetic at best review. Why dont you go review another genre of music. It seems like you might be the type to listen to some pop music.

Hank III's last two albums will stand as cross genre classics mainly due to the songwriting skills of, yes, one proud Son of the South (coupled with his skills as an arranger/musician). I suppose he should approach his heritage with shame and guilt to please the folks up north or the arbiters of taste in Berkley? Hank III is THE SALVATION of American music and the most unique performer of his time that the country has to offer IN ANY GENRE. Hank III realizes just as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, or his grandfather did,that genres are only about marketing strategies anyway(nevermind the fact that during a single performance, Mr Williams can carry his audiences through no less than 3 seemingly disparate genres and do so seamlessly). Why the 'asshole' comment? Do you realize how many musicians he's helped with their careers(much as Cash did and goes unrecognized for)? With praise like this, who needs criticism.....
