Maria Isa drops free mp3

​Fresh off performing in the Lab Theatre production of Rent, Maria Isa is heading back to the studio to finish off her forthcoming mixtape, Sip-It! To get the word out about her mixtape, Isa is offering the first track, "Lowrider Mami's (Caddy, Lincoln, Chevys)," as a free mp3 for fans, and it's a slow-burning, bass bumpin' jam -- listen for the great line where she encourages people to Facebook befriend her and tweet her to find out who she really is.

Maria Isa performs as part of Dessa's Cadence series at the Guthrie on May 5 with M.anifest and DJ Paper Tiger, and on May 7 at the District Del Sol's Cinco De Mayo Festival in St. Paul.
