Solid Gold headline the Mainroom tonight

​Solid Gold return to First Ave's Mainroom tonight (where they last headlined our Gimme Shelter benefit for Haiti), and to get ready for the evening's festivities the band sent over this new video of their performance of "Get Over It" at a Vega Productions fundraiser earlier this year. As a result of their performance at the Vega Productions fundraiser (the local charity organization also responsible for releasing the Minnesota Beatle Project compilation), over 60 instruments were donated to the students at Edison High School in Northeast Minneapolis. The students played many of the instruments while recording a track for the second volume of the Beatles compilation, which is due out at the end of the year.
