We Are the Willows featured on Daytrotter

​It's no secret that we're fans of Peter Miller of We Are the Willow's stark soundscapes, poignant songwriting, and delicate voice; we're such adamant supporters of that last quality, in fact, that we named Miller Best Male Vocalist in this year's Best of the Twin Cities issue of City Pages. So we were elated to find Miller's face etched onto the homepage of the Daytrotter site today in one of their signature watercolor portraits, accompanied by a four-song session of songs We Are the Willows recorded for the Illinois-based indie site.

Recommended track: My personal favorite song, "A Funeral Dressed as a Birthday," sounds even more immediate and chilling in this session. Goosebumps guaranteed.
