MNOriginal launch party in Mears Park tonight

TPT's MNOriginal began broadcasting its first season earlier this spring, but the show will celebrate its official launch in Mears Park tonight with a free outdoor show and art gathering. Nachito Herrera and Caroline Smith and the Goodnight Sleeps will open tonight's show, and both acts will then join the Mad Ripple (a.k.a. Jim Walsh) as he hosts one of his songwriter-in-the-round hootenannies.
MNOriginal is working to document all of the great art being made in the state, including music -- see below for a selection of some of their music segments featuring Starfolk, Red Pens, Dosh, and Peter Ostroushko.
