Racktacular II comes to the Turf Saturday

The second Racktacular is coming to the Turf this Saturday, and it comes bearing gifts. They are holding a massive art bra auction and contest (the possibilities...), a performance from Lili's Burlesque, and sets from Alpha Consumer and Communist Daughter. And a good cause to boot -- it's most likely the most benevolent thing you'll do all year, and it's not even close to boring.
Says organizer Donette Ambrosy: "I started Racktacular a year ago
when my sister, Sheri Kruser - a breast cancer survivor - asked me to
raise $2300 to walk with her in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day. This year Sheri and I have even more reason to fundraise and walk, as
our mother has since been diagnosed with, and BEAT, breast cancer this
spring. 2009's event at the Nomad World Pub was very successful and
lots of fun - we're making Racktacular II even bigger and better at the
Turf Club this year." Get out there!
