The Rock in Maplewood set to close tomorrow

​According to a Facebook event page set up by the Rock Nightclub in Maplewood, the all-ages club will come to a halt after tonight's closing party. "The Rock is officially closing it's doors this coming Friday," is says on the Facebook page. "Thursday will be the last day open and we want to gather as many people as possible to say goodbye in style!"

We're still waiting for a call back from management on the reasons behind the closing, which came as a shock to fans of the club (they had shows booked all the way out to September, which are now canceled). The Star Tribune is reporting that bands who had gigs booked at the club were just told about the closing yesterday.
