Watch BET's "My Mic Sounds Nice" documentary on women in rap

​How serendipitous that so close to the B-Girl Be Carnival, our Cities' celebration of everything female in hip-hop, BET would stream their documentary My Mic Sounds Nice, a canvass of some of rap's most successful women on woman's place in the culture, where it stands, and where it's going.

The first thing you'll notice? They started really early: 12, 14, 15 years old. Take heed, young ones...we all know how you get to Carnegie Hall.
