Surfer Blood perform for City of Music

​When Surfer Blood came through town to play the Varsity Theater earlier this month, we were quick to post a recap and photo slideshow of their performance -- and now we're excited to share even more documentation of the rising indie band's local appearance.

Thanks to our friends at MPLS.TV, we're pleased to present a special "touring band" edition of our City of Music series, featuring live footage of Surfer Blood performing "Floating Vibes" at the Varsity.

This week's video includes special hand-painted titles by Matt Scharenbroich, a local artist who also plays with Grant Cutler and the Gorgeous Lords.
