Surfer Blood to be featured in next week's City of Music

The MPLS.TV crew went to the Varsity last week to film a special live "touring band" version of City of Music with Surfer Blood, who happened to be passing through town. The video won't be ready until next Monday, but you can preview a few photos from the Surfer Blood show below.
"They rocked the place," says producer Dan Huiting, "and we are excited to release the video. Matt Scharenbroich, who is just heading out to CMJ to play drums with Grant Cutler and the Gorgeous Lords, painted some very cool watercolor titles for this one. Video out Monday!"
