Brute Heart, Dosh, Peter Wolf Crier record new Daytrotter sessions

​Illionois-based recording site Daytrotter continues to show its love for Twin Cities bands this month with a new session by Brute Heart and return visits by powerhouse duo Peter Wolf Crier and multi-instrumental maestro Dosh.

The three women in Brute Heart especially seemed to make their mark on the Daytrotter staff. "Crystal Brinkman, Jackie Beckey and Crystal Myslajek of Brute Heart make an on-the-hunt sound that's the same as feeling as if every inch of your skin was pulling against its glue, separating itself from the hairs and pores," Sean Moeller writes.
