A month after Micheal "Eyedea" Larsen was found dead in his home, a toxicology report has been issued by the Ramsey County medical examiner's office. According to Pete Crum, St. Paul police spokesperson, the medical examiner filed Larsen's death certificate late in the day yesterday, ruling the death accidental and citing the cause as "opiate toxicity."

Further details, including which specific drugs were found in his system, are not being made available to the public.

Larsen was found dead on October 16. Since that time, news of his death has crippled the local and national hip-hop community. Many of Larsen's closest musical friends and collaborators came together to perform at a benefit concert at First Avenue on November 9, which would have been his 29th birthday.
