KaiserCartel playing intimate show at the Cake Shop

​There's a feeling of closeness inherent in Brooklyn duo KaiserCartel's music, and it's so palpable that they can't even afford a single space between their names. Courtney Kaiser and Ben Cartel's songwriting, lyricism, and sense of melody are so interwoven that they become a thing of singular beauty, captivating audiences with their embracing, romantic stage presence. KaiserCartel are no strangers to the Twin Cities; they manage to stop through at least a few times a year and have built up a steady fanbase in town. This weekend, they will open for Romantica at their vinyl album release show at the Cedar on Sunday before playing their own gig at Cake in 15's intimate living room venue on Monday, December 13.
